CAPTURE OF THE CHRISTCHURCH JEWEL ROBBER.
(by telegraph.) Dunedin, To-day.
At the City Police Court this morning, John Anderson was charged with stealing a large quantity of jewellery from the shop of George Hooper, Christchurch. Only part of the property has been recovered. A remand for eight days was granted. John Connel, for receiving L7O worth of the same, was also remanded for eight days.
