[per beuteb’s agency.] The Wool Show. London, June 2. The International wool show at the Crystal Palace was opened to-day by the Duke of Connaught, in the presence of a vast assemblage of people, and in his speech on the occasion, his Royal Highness dwelt at length upon the importance of the staple then on exhibition. The only exhibitors representing the Australian colonies are Sir Samuel Wilson, of Victoria, and Messrs Fisher and Pitts, of Adelaide, Some of the exhibits are not yet opened, but it is expected that the greater portion will be on view in a fortnight. The awards are to be made in August. Monetary and Commercial.
