Lady Emma is a strong favorite for the Birthday Handicap, to be run on Tuesday, but wet weather is making the course heavy, which may affect her chance. Nautilus, at her owner’s training ground, fell over a sheep. It is not yet known whether she is much injured, but her arrival here has been postponed in consequence ; she is therefore a doubtful starter.
