The medical evidence shows several veins were severed by the wounds, but the knife fortunately missed the principal blood vessels. It is almost a miracle that the wounds were not fatal. More Grey Orations. Sir G. Grey addresses the electors on Monday night, at the Theatre Royal. A Small Tire. Dunedin, To-day. A fire occurred at the Union Chambers, Princes street, this morning. The damage was trifling.
