A wrestling match for LSO a-side came off this morning at Lea and Whitley’s saloon, between Hudson, of Dunedin, and Slade, of Temuka. The match was for the five best falls out of nine, and was won by Slade. Hudson was out of condition, or the result would probably have been different. About 200 persons were present, including many bookmakers down for the races. Betting—2 - to 1 on Slade. A Happy Miss, Dunedin, To-day. L. Rodgers, of Invercargill, is not a passenger by the ill-fated Tararua. He missed his passage at Port Chalmers.
