EXCITING BALLOON ADVENTURE.

(By Cable.) Sydney, To-day. An aeronaut made an ascent from the Domain last night, and in descending his balloon came on top of a house in Woolloomooloo. The roof gave way, and the balloon was torn ; the escaping gas communicated with the lights in the hou'o, and an explosion took place. The balloon was completely destroyed, but no ferious damage was done to the house or other premises adjoining, and 1/Estrange escaped without injury. There was a largo crowd in the street witnessing the descent of the balloon, and when the explosion occurred a panic took place, and in the crush and confush n which followed several persons were slightly injured.
