In the Legislative Assembly last night the debate on Mr Murray Smith’s motion for a conference of the two Houses on the Reform Bill was concluded, and on a division being taken, the proposal was rejected by 40 to 33. Mr Graves, Sir John O’Shanassy, and Sir Bryan O’Loghlen, voted with the minority.

An inquest on the remains of the men who met with their death by the disaster to the boat of the Cerberus failed to elicit any fresh facts in connection with the explosion. The Reform Bill.
