THE TE AROHA MURDER.

The Magisterial Inquiry. (By Telegraph.) Grahamstown, To-day. The inquiry into the murder at Te Aroha was continued this morning, Mr Pendent, a merchant in Auckland, resident previously in Russia, acting as interpreter for the accused. Sergeant-Major O’Grady deponed to taking off the boots from the accused and showing them to Doctor Huxtable, who remarked spots on them which looked like blood. The accused accounted for the stains by saying his nose had bled on the floor. Witness saw under the nail of his fingers blood, and in his nostrils. Previous to the 15th instant had not seen blood on the floor or about the accused. Later. A native named Hone Werahako, and Jas. White, a bushman, gave evidence after the adjournment, but no new facts were elicited. The case is not likely to conclude today.
