CRICKET.
The Interprovincial Cricket Match. Otago Beaten by an Innings and 230. Yesterday, when time was called, Otago had only been able to get together 77 in their first innings, and 46 for the loss of three wickets in their second. They had a big score in 381 to creep up to, and but little hope of doing it. Christchurch, To-day. The match came to a sudden conclusion at 1.20 to-day. Spring and Paramor added 13 to the score and the former was bowled by Fuller. C. Frith and Ashby made two wonderful single-handed catches, which disposed of Paramor and Collinson, and the last five men made only five runs. Paramor made 37 and Spring 15. C. Frith got 7 wickets for 25 runs, and Fuller 3 for 10.
