SERIOUS ACCIDENT TO MR GLADSTONE.
(By Cable.) London, Feb. 24. The Right Kon. VV. E. Gladstone met with a serious accident to-day. As he was entering his carriage his foot slipped and he fell, his head striking the step of the carriage. He sustained a severe wound, and is now confined to his bed.
