Intelligence has been received here that a white man has been murdered by the natives of Gilbert River, North Queesland. New Zealand Wheat at the Exhibition. Melbourne, To-day. It is stated that New Zealand exhibitors take twenty-four awards for exhibits of wheat, jp'ut none are first prizes.
Obituary. Mr Janies Blackwood, of Dalgety, Blackwood, and Co , after a long illness, has died from dropsy.
