(Per Press Association.) The Regatta. Auckland, To-day. It is a splendid day for the Regatta, especially for the sailing races. The Intercolonial Gig Race for LIOO has been postponed till later in the day, owing to the bumpy sea. There are only three local entries for the Champion Schooner Race for LIOO. Eight fine vessels entered —the Caledonia, Linda Weber, Edith, Sovereign, Belle Brandon, Torea, Borealis, aud Myrtle. A good start was effected, and a fine sail made down the harbor. Arrived at the North Head the Sovereign was leading, with the Borealis and Edith close up. No Race. Wellington, To-day. At the Magistrate’s Court an action brought by Captain Fleetwing against the Regattta Committee was finished to-day. The Magistrate decided it was no race, and the entrance tee bo returned. Further Adj ourned. Dunedin, To-day. Mbritzon’s case has been further adjourned until Friday next. The Week’s Bankruptcies. Ten. small insolvencies have filed during the week.
