Respecting Edwards’ challenge, the Star isauthorised to state that young Scott is willing to walk him a twenty-four hours’ contest, in conformity with the challenge previously issued, for any suvriup to LSOO. Should Edwards decline these terms, Mr. Austin will match Scott against him for both a twenty-four and forty-eight hours’ match, for LIOO a side each. The Australian Team. Bannennan and Bonner do not come over with the Australian eleven. The former had a ; disagreement, and the latter’s leg is too bad. Their places are filled by Tindall and Scott.
