(Pei.Reuter's Agency.) Wool Exhibits. Melbourne, Jan. 5. The wool exhibits at the International Exhibition were opened to-day. They were scarcely sufficiently representative, there being only a few from New Zealand. The qualities were unsurpassed, and experts find it most difficult to decide which is best.
Sugar for Lyttelton, Mauritius advices state that engagements for Lyttelton amount to 50 tons. ■ Footballers on the War-path. Melbourne, To-daj. The footballers here are organising a team to leave for England in May. It will include five New Zealanders.
