RESIDENT MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
—« ASH BURTON. -To-bay! (Before Mr. Nugent Wood, 11. M.) Creditors, Trustee of Joseph Dale, with Culf and Graham, v. Orr and Co. This was a case in which Cuff and Graham claimed L 37 ns the value of a reaper and binder seized by defendants under a bill of sale, and which plaintiffs alleged was not included in the schedule. Evidence at some length was taken, and the case lasted an hour and a half, and was finally disposed of by the parties agreeing to sell the machine and divide the proceeds. Bradford v. Wilkie.—Claim L 4 13s. for wages. Mr. O’Reilly for plaintiff. L 3 11s. 6d. was paid into Court. After argument, the Magistrate gave judgment for the amount paid into Court, without costs.
