Tallow and Wool. Lonjjoist, Dec 3. The total stock of tallow in London on the Ist inst. was 14,300 casks. At the wool sales to-day 7,600. bales were offered, making a total of 79,000 halos catalogued since the opening. The tone of the sale was quiet. Dec. 4. At the wool sales to-day 8,300 bales were offered, making a total of 87,30.0 bales catalogued since the .opening." The* 1 tone of the sale showed that prices were firmly maintained. The Araby MaidThe ship Araby Maid, which went ashore last month at Kiugsdown, has been successfully floated. The cargo has not apparently suffered any damage. Parnell Refused a Postponement. The application of Mr. Parnell, that the trial of himself and the other Leaguers for conspiracy, which is fixed to take place at the end of the month, should be postponed on account of the meeting of Parliament on Gth January, has been refused by the Irish Judges. The Viceroy, the Marquis of Ripon is now better, and fever is subsiding.
