The Wallsend co-operative miners have struck, and other threaten to do so unless they receive back pay in accordance with the recent arbitration. The Exhibition.
Melbourne, To-day,
The exhibition returns for yesterday, show that over 20,000 persons visited the building during the day. Tramways for Melbourne. Mr. Proudfoot, contractor, of Dunedin, has made an offer to the authorities to construct tramways in Melbourne, and his proposal is now under consideration.
