Big Fires in Australia.
(By cable, from Reuter's Agency.) Sydney, Oct. 18.
A most disastrous fire broke out at Waggawagga, at midnight on Friday, and completely destroyed the Masonic Hall and several adjoining buildings. The damage is estimated at LIO,OOO, which is fully insured. The fire raged for five hours.
Brisbane, Oct. 18.
A fire broke out here at 11 p.m. Saturday in tho premises of Bolam, draper, in Queen street. The flames spread to the, adjoiningestablislnnent, and were only extinguished with great difficulty. The insurances include LBSO in the Royal, Imperial, and Colonial of tho New Zealand, besides L 5,250 in oblio-y offices. ■ f
