NUISANCES.

We were pleased to notice that at the last meeting of the Borough Council, in addition to the Engineer’s report being read there was also a brief outline of the work done by the Inspec nr of Nuisances presented to the Council. Now that spring has been ushered in, and the probability of a hot summer following it, no time should be lost by the Inspector in attending to the sanitary condition of the Borough; and where owners of property persist in allowing rubbish and filth to accumulate on their premises, we hope to see immediate action taken to have the nuisance abated. We have been led to draw attention to this matter, by the very offensive effluvia arising from various parts of the township, more particularly in the neighborhood of the Triangle. The necessity for something being done in this locality must be patent to all have to pass up and down that portion of Cameron street. Perhaps the Inspector of Nuisances, during his peregrinations, might pay a visit to this part of the Borough, and satisfy himself as to the need for immediate action being taken to abate the nuisance.
