(Copy) Vivian St., Apr. 23rd, 1847. Sir, I beg to inform you that in compliance with the request of his Excellency the Governor, I have effected the following arrangement with the Rangikapuoho and his son Ngarongomate respecting the piece of Land belonging to them, and lately in the occupation of Mr.Loveridge. They consent to give up the above-mentioned piece of land, to the Wesleyan Missionary Society: in return they are to retain the Pa Te ringa Mango, and to receive back from the Society the North Western half of a Section, numbered "9" on the Map.
