u to Must Nut Lower Our Standards! H
There arc times when the TRaLG? feels impelled to forsake his flippant attitude and speak- in no uncertain terms in defence of moral standards in our small. community. Such an occasion has now arisen. This week at Basketball.the Padre’s team, the self-styled u Holy Joes 4 turned out in a barbaric uniform. he regard this as the thin end of the wedge. Probably we shall have them rendering warcries before table tennis next, and introduce -a lot of noisy gallery-play which is absolutely foreign to British spurt. Padre Guffin and his supporters should bear in mind the record of modern history. After all the first person in the modern world to start dressing up his men in a fancy uniform was Mussolini. His team was no good either.
Contributions are still desired fur the TRAMP and should be handed to Graham bating Editor or Alan Pearson - Sub-Editor.
