On Wednesday the 3rd 0 February, there was an Inter~Battory SableTennis Tournament in the Y o M o 0 Q A o Hut o The 24th a Battery was the winning battery, with Bill Miler the champion of champions,, Ho had soveral redoubtable opponents in Bill Reader of the 20th o Mr o Donnelly 2 Tho arrangements for tho matches were made by Los Sutherland of the Y 3 M O G e A O The contests wore close and a high stands ard of sportsmanship was exhibited .by all players* Perhaps the boat game of evening was that between Kill Reader and Mr Donnelly, although Jack Gauf caused much amusement by his vigorous facial expressions* Good work, Jack*. Hugh Day 1 a play as runner-up, was the subject of much comment, and he should do,well in future competitions*
