IMPORTANT PART PLAYED
The British Commonwealth Air Training Scheme in Canada, by which hundreds of NZ airmen were trained, came to an end on April 1.
Mi. Churchill and others have paid tribute to the important part, it has played in the Empire’s war effort. Over 100,000 trainees have been sent out to all the fronts of the world.
