This issue of '’’Dozer dust ■ mJ - marks the completion of our fired ! 5 weeks in Nov; Caledonia* in that time much has been j ! dono & Thanks to the efforts of I i tho Advance Party under the com-; ■ I mand of Major West, wo were sparI cd much discomfort on arrival. j Wo have established comps which i are improving in appearance and | comfort daily, and even now comj pare favourably with others. j We have also undertaken certain j jtasks for others and have cotab— j • lished our first contacts. Much j i has boon done in this short time j yet much remains to bo done and j j particularly in our role of j Works Service Engineers, much- is I expected of us. I Before us lies a large pro-j gramme of work, and we have al- j ; ready sampled the difficulties 1 of attempting to carry out work j | , without adequate or even any faci” i Bo not discouraged by these difficulties howeverj the whole of this force lias been faced by similar difficulties for months past . and tho manner in which tho difficulties .have boon overcome, ! plus the results achieved ; j should be an example to all of j us..
