A number of promotions and changes n the Second New Zealand Expedi ionar.x Force were gazetted'last night Captain A. .i Crisp is appointed deputy assistant adjutant general, vice Captain (temporary major) J. B While. Major C. A. L. Treadwell is to be lieutenant-colonel. Major (temper :irj lieutenant-colonel) N. C. Speight. New Zealand Medical Corps, is to be heutei'i'antwplonel. Brigadier G. B Patkiiison. New Zealand Artillery, re--1 mpiisht's command of the New Zealand Training Group, Maadi Camp, and is detached for special duty He is succeeded b\ Lieutenant-Colonel A S Wilde: who relinquishes command of the 25th Wellington Battalion Lieut Colonel Wildei is granted the temper ary rank of brigadier. • Lieutenant Colonel J G. McNaught now com mauds the 25th Battalion. Major M S. Carrie is appointed public relations officer temporarily, vice Lieutenant (temporary captain) W.
