We wish all our readers, near and far, in this our omii ’and and those others far array across the secs, who will not see this tiii Christmas is well past, a very happy Christmas. 1 he year is almost gone. On its wings, as ever, it brought joy. sorrow, surprise, and opportunity for most people. As
it slips away into the eternal, we thank God for its constant reminders of His love and care, even in the midst of other reminders of the world’s ancient need; that of recognising in the Holy Babe, the Light and Hope, and only security for humanity. By our prayers, faith and practice, let
us do what in us lies to hasten the time when "Peace shall over rll the earth Its ancient splendours fling; And the whole world give back the song Which now the angels sing." CHRISTMAS Christinas is a good tune. A time for giving cheer To lonely ones and ones, And those we hold most dear. Christmas is a kind time. “On earth goodwill to men." Give sympathy, give friendship, Till Christmas comes again Christmas is a glad time, Eor then the Christ was born; Oh, let the message of His love Be sung on Christmas morn. —Anon
