LETTER FROM MRS. LEECOWIE

The following letter recently receded by Mr. George Dash, will have much interest for the many friends of the writer: My dear Friend*— What a pleasure your letters, papers, etc., are. Such a link with the past, and a “cheerio” for the present. I am rejoicing in the resurrection glory all around, in masses of flowers, singing birds, golden sunshine, all telling of the wonderful transformation that God can bring about in so short a time. I had a week’s mission i:i a country town this month, and returned home with a relaxed throat. Do you wonder, when I tell you I gave 16 addresses in that time, and, with other meetings awaiting me here, i have not had time to recover. It is a joy to be still a messenger of cur great Master, telling the people. "He is not willing that one should perish, but that all should have everlasting life." We are making more advance in our Temperance Cause than we have been able to do for many a year. Everywhere the people are awakening t< the awful evils of the liquor traffic. Our "Prayer Crusade’ has

really shaken the world. "Praise the Lord.” Not only are the Tetnperanct people and the ( hurches awakening, but the secular Press, the men in authority, and others are taking up the matter of Women Drinking, Juvenile Delinquency, and the terrific burden on taxpayers. "\\ bile men slept, an enemy sowed tares. Have you met our dear Mrs. Mackie yet? We grew to love lur when she was here. Now with most cordial good wishes for your continued health and happiness, I will close. Ever in our Saviours glorious service, Your old-time fellow-worker. BESSIE LEE-COW IK.
