FOOD FOR BRITAIN MEETING WINTON UNION
A special meeting of the Winton Union was held on October 21st, /with the object of obtaining food to send to Britain. A special speaker addressed the gathering, Mrs. Fiancshi, who has recently come from Britain. Mrs. Bianchi very ably outlined the rationing system, and the food position in Britain. A large collection of tinned foods was received and packed to send to B.W.T.A.’s in Britain. Thanks were expresed to the speaker after which a hymn and the Benediction brought the meeting to a close. Tea was dispensed.
