IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS
Mrs. Toomer, Dominion Corresponding Secretary, writes: — “I )ear Editor, 1 have received so many letters from various Union Officers, all expressing such very kind wishes to me in regard to my new office, that I was wondering if you could thank them for me through the ‘W.R.’ There are so many of them that it would cost quite a fortune in stamps to answer them individually, let alone time. “Their messages have been so exceptionally kind, and 1 have appreciated them immensely. Such kindness always makes one feel so glad to he able to do the work allotted to one. *A little pat on he hack.' so to speak, does otic good. Yours sincerely, C. TOOMER.” We are glad to publish Mrs. roomer’s appreciation in her own words, and would add our own good wishes to those already expressed to her, and all out Dominion Officers, for the coming year.—Ed. Mis> M. Ik L(Kell-Smith, Dominion Treasurer, has a special notice for Union Treasurers at the foot of her quarterly report. We call special attention to this in order to save time and postage through sending to the wrong person. “WHITE RIBBON” reporters are again reminded that all reports must be in the hands of the Editor by the KIFTEENTH of the month to ensure publication in the next issue. Please note: Names of “tea hostesses" may be included in reports in future. Thanks are due to those l nion Secretaries and Reporters who have remembered that all money, alterations to names in Union advertisements, atid lists of officers’ names should be sent to Mrs- Grigg, 1 Mallam Street, Karori, Wellington, and not to the Editor. AUCKLAND DISTRICT EXECUTIVE A monthly Prayer Meeting will be held on first Mondays from 10.0 a.ni. to noon, and from 1.0 to 2.0 p.m., prior to the monthly Executive meeting, for the work in connection with the coming Poll. Meeting place, the Temperance Room. Everybody welcome.
