ABSENT-MINDED.
I lie professor was very absentminded. and it was a gieat surprise to him when his wife placed a beautiful bunch of Mowers on his desk one morning. “What does tMs mean, my dear?” lie asked. “Why, don” you remember?” she exclaimed. “This is the anniversary of your wedding day.” “Ah! Is that so?” he answered politely. “Please let me know’ when yours comes round, and 1 will reciprocate.”
