A st lunger in an American tow n in the Middle West asked a rseident for the “location" of the various churches in the town. "They are all in the usual places,” the resident ans wend, “and you will have no difficulty in finding them. The Jewish Synagogue is next door to the hank; the Baptists are close down by the river; the Presbyterians are near the oold storage; the Salvation Army just opposite the Are station; the Congregationalists are just by the laundry; the Episcopalian Church is in the sainblock as the theatre: and the Methodists are next door to the gasworks.”
