M.D., in his series o. articles on “The Ways of Health,” pub lished in the "Chicago lUHy News.” says:— “Alcoholism probably comes second in the list of causes of feeble mindedness Temperate, moderate, habitual, periods or excessive indulgence in alcohol pre disposes to mental defect in the offspring. Social drinking acts as a trauma to the seed and puts the nuir\ of degeneracy uj>on posterity. These are conclusion* drawn by the experts who arc qualified to know.’
