WHAT IS A WOWSER?
At a Y meeting, the Rev. Dudley defined a wowser as “one who puts God and Empire before self; one who has to be reckoned with.” The letters of the word stand for the motto: “We On!\ Want Soc ial Evils Rev.-oved.”
