SCHOOL COMMITTEES.
The following ladies were returned members of School Committees: — Gisborne: Mesdames Fast, Walker, and Church. All three are members of the W.C.T.U., and two ladies headed the poll. Wanganui: Mrs Siddells (headed the poll) and Mrs M< Kenzie. South Invercargill: Mrs Clara Larkin and Mrs Jessie Garrett. North-Fast Valley Mrs Begg, member of the W .C.T.U. Newtown: Mrs Johnson Wright. Ie Aro: Mrs S. Kvans. Terrace: Mesdames K. M. Dyson, M. Pickup, and S. K. O. Snow. Wadestown: Mrs K. Moore. Roseneath: Mrs Low. Ngaio: Mrs Darvall (Secretary) and Mrs Chat win. Johnsonville: Mrs Rodda. Nelson: Mrs Buchanan and Mrs Redgrave. Wakanui: Mrs Begg. Wanganui Last: Mesdames Walpole and FI I is. North Canterbury: Twenty-two wonr*n were elected members ot School Committees in this district.
