AVONDALE. Dec. Annual meeting. Officers elected: Pres., Miss E. Sevens; Kec. Set., Miss G. Wright; Cor. Sec., Miss L. Morey; Treas., Miss A. Douthwaite. Miss (i. Wright appointed delegate to Convention. Our thanks are due to .Miss Weymouth for her work amongst us, also to Mrs l’erritt, our V Supt., who has bee 1 a real friend and helper to us. NELSON. Dec. Annual meeting held in Temperance Hall, Miss Hayes in the chair. Annual report showed that good work had been done in connection with L.T.L. The Treasurer’s statement showed a credit balance of £t) 2s 7d. Owing to good results from concert, decided to give /.4 to the local W.C.T.U. Organising Fund. Resolved to send letters of thanks to Mrs Moyes, Mrs P. Holton, and Miss Sutherland for their great help in connection with L.T.L. Decided to send a delegate to Convention. Election of offiters resulted as follows: Pres., Miss Haves; Vice-Pres., Misses Chmg and V. Phillips; Sec., Miss Knapp; Assist. Sec., Miss F. Hayes; Treas., Mi>> Phillips. tssist. treas..
