God end war! But when brute war is ended Vet shall there be many a noble soldier. Many a noble* battle worth the winning. Manv a hopeless battle worth the losing. Life is battle. Life is battle even to the sunset. I Yes ! to this thought l hold with firm persistent e; The last result of wisdom stamps it true, He only earns his freedom and existence Who daily conquers them anew.
