WE MUST DO OUR BEST.
The day has gone by when alcohol could be defended. No man who knows the? truth about it now takes it for his health ; science has proved bevond doubt that alcohol has no good thing to give a man. woman, or c hild. Even a moderate use of it dims Mie vision, impairs the judgment, reduces strength, hastens fatigue, and weakens the body’s power of resistance. The man who takes it is putting only a part of himself into his work, and is holding back his best. Arthur Mce, in “The Little Paper.”
