“WHITE RIBBON” REPORT.

The year 1916 closed with 2215 subscribers, an increase of qf for the year, and the balance-sheet shows a credit balance of £lO ps qd. Owing to war conditions, paper and postage have increased in price, so that ou: year’s increase is* satisfactory. Some Unions have gained many new subscribers; others have done comparatively little* in this department. We would urge every Union to appoint an energetic agent, and do their best to increase the circulation of the “White Ribbon.” To Mrs F.vans, our able Associate Editor, our earnest thanks arc* due* for help so willingly given; and to Mr Lvnneberg for auditing the accounts. To all those agents who have helped us through the year we give our hearty thanks. NELLIE PERYMAN, Editor and Business Manager, “White Ribbon.”
