OFFENSIVE POSTERS.
Invercargill I nion sent a protest rc hoardings on town walls. Ihe following letter is the reply received: “Further to yours date d ejth inst. 1 have to inform you that the Horough Council are taking steps to put a stop to picture posters of an offensive or indecent character b u'g shown 00 the hoardings throughout the town. The Inspector has be-t n instrue ted to take immediate action unde 1 the- Bylaws when any objectionable posted is shown.”
