W ith a view to accelerating the* output of mere hant vessels on the* ( lyde, the Shipbuilders’ Federation has sent a memorial to the new Prime Minister, urging that the* immediate total prohibition of the sale of all alcoholic liquor throughout the kingdom should be appßed to all classes and individuals alike. The memorial adds that a meeting of Clyde and West of Scotland shipbuilder-* and marine engineers unanimously considered that the nation should be required to submit to this sacrific e. Perhaps if th s be done we may get vessels to take 1 away cheese from our over-crowded store's.
