The “Pall Mall (iazette” of December 7th says:—“The e*ffect of the first week’s operation of the new drinking order in London has remarkable. Drunkenness has declined so substantially that in comparison with the state of things a week ago there was yesterday a decrease at some Courts of nearly 50 per cent.”
