SUPERINTENDENT'S LETTERS.
HOME MEETINGS. V\ ill all Unions who have done w ork in Home Meetings department kindly send report before January 31st to Miss Dewar, 4, Pompallicr Terrace, Auckland ?
NOTABLE DAYS. Dear Cnion Members, —Our next special day is on February 17th, ‘‘Frances Willard Day,” and the collection goes to the Missionary Fund. Oar American sisters use the “Red Letter Days” to increase, if possible, their membership, varying the form of meeting, sometimes arranging open-air services on sheltered lawns, social functions, and also picnics, always with a practical and helpful address. As February is one of our hot months, perhaps more Unions could avail themselves of an outdoor function, of course with the hope of increasing membership and having a happy and profitable afternoon. Although the; war cloud still hovers over us, let us try and push our cause along. Some may receive us more willingly now than in times of peace. Trusting you will each plan something a little better than ever before for our coming “Frances W illard Day.”—l remain, yours in the work, LOUIE HARRISON, Supt. Notable Days.
