WORLD'S W.C.T.U.

My Dear Comrade, — We have been earnestly hoping that the awful Europe.in war cloud would lift in time for us to call the Tenth Triennial Convention of the World’s Women’s Christian Temperance Union, to meet here in kjiG. With inexpressible regret, the general officers have decided to notify all our auxiliaries that the Convention, which ought to be held in 191 G, must be deferred. We are unitedly working, and fervently praying for the coming of international peace. We praise Cod for the fellowship of White Ribboners the world around, and thank Him that our precious bond of unity cannot be broken by the exigencies of this most terrible conflict. With love, sympathy and best wishes.- Affectionately, ANNA A. CORDON, AGNES K. SLACK, Hon. Secretaries World’s W.C.T.U.
