Since it cannot be regulated and cannot b emade to obey the law, take the step which you know will be effective, and close it up.”— Governor W. C. McDonald. “Drink nurts our people more than anything else. It is the duty of all to help eradicate the saloon and save the Spanish-Americ an people from its clutches.
