Since railroad men John Barelycorn Have kicked off all their trains, And drinking booze is viewed with scorn By ev’ry man with brains— Since Prohibition’s on the way And coming like a streak, To knock each joint, saloon, cafe, To the middle of next week — 1 see with only half an eye More than my tongue can tell; And think I'd better quickly fly To mv old home in—well, you know where it is.
