On Tuesday, March <>th, I travelled to Mosgiel, where the first meeting of K)is took the form of a social. A good contingent of Dunedin White Ribboners went down, and a cheery little meeting was held, addresses being delivered by the Dominion President and myself. The Union has elected Mrs 11. I). Bedford President, and with .Mrs McDonald, Y.P., and Mrs Pinfold removed there fr«*;n kaikorai Valley, Mosgiel Branch should go ahead and take the banner next year. On ioth in>t. I gave a talk to the girls at Sawyer’s Bay, and the following day addressed the Port Chalmers Branch, Mrs Johnston. President, extending her kindly hospitality until next day, when a branch was organised at Sawyer’s Bay. Then followed the Convention, a splendid gathering, which should prove a great inspiration to all attending it. Let us hope every member will do as a Christchurch White Ribboner did. who, after attending her fir-t Convention, went home so enthused that sh<* secured thirteen new members!
