Continued from page 35 capacity on her league branch, the Maori Committee, the local P.T.A. and other organisations. With all this, she was unassuming in her manner. The committees of judges saw her as a fine example of what may be achieved by young Maori women. The next Dominion Conference is to be held in Gisborne, in conjunction with the Cook Bi-Centenary celebrations, and will start on 21 July, 1969.
