Maori schools The Editor ‘Te Ao Hou’ I am writing a History of Maori Education and as the Maori Schools appear to not have much longer to live, I would like to hear from any former pupils, teachers or others who have been associated with Maori Education, who might be able to tell me something of the history of the schools in their district. I am also hoping to locate photos or school diaries showing the work of the schools, and if people would be kind enough to loan these to me I would have them carefully copied and returned. Thanking you. Yours sincerely, JOHN M. BARRINGTON, Lecturer, Department of Education. Victoria University of Wellington
