Wellingtonians Enjoy Hangi A hangi organised by one of the teachers, Mr Edward Nepia, ensured that nobody went hungry at the Wellington High School fair. Seven carcasses of mutton, seven bags of potatoes, a bag of pumpkins and some pork and beef, steamed in baskets above white hot stone, provided enough food for 500 servings.
