Mr Nutana Wiki Mr Nutana Wiki, an elder of Te Aupouri tribe, died recently in Kaitaia hospital and was buried at Te Kao. In his younger days he was a noted New Zealand rugby player. Mr Wiki, who was about 82, had considerable influence among his people through his example as a hard-working farmer and a good citizen. He participated in the original development scheme launched by Judge Acheson in the Te Kao district and he took a full part in other movements such as the creation of the Aupouri Trust Board. His wife, who died some years ago, was a daughter of Mr Henry Norman of Te Hapua. They had five sons and six daughters.
